Forgings
New forgings on MacGregor's workbench in 1999

When I began playing this wonderful game called golf, the hot, gotta-have driver of the time was an air-hardened persimmon masterpiece called a MacGregor MT. And MacGregor's MT irons and Tommy Armour VFQs were the yardstick of quality and performance for all other irons at the time. Many of the biggest names in the game won a bag full of majors with these legendary clubs. They are the same clubs I learned to play the game with and I've never forgotten the sweet feel of hitting these masterpieces of the clubmaker's art.

They were the inspiration for my decision to build only the highest quality clubs possible with only the best brand name components available to the clubmaker for today's golfer.

You don't have to settle for a one-size-fits-all selection off a rack. Even the best and biggest companies in golf can't afford to devote the time and attention it takes to fit their

customers the way the professional clubmaker can. This is the big advantage you derive from having your clubs tailored to your game personally by the same person that actually builds them. It's the same way the pros on the Tour have their clubs built.

I have built clubs for golfers all over the US, and a few overseas. From newcomers to the game to playing professionals, every one of them was different. For all of them, no matter what their ability, I have always tried to build clubs that deliver great FEEL. To me, it is the most important word in golf, and one I learned a long time ago when I first learned to play the game. It is the difference between dead feeling golf clubs and clubs that feel like a natural extension of your body. It's the difference between ordinary golf clubs and great golf clubs. It is what makes the game more fun to play.

All our clubs are built to your personal specifications. A comprehensive fitting questionnaire right on our website will insure that your clubs are uniquely built to fit you. There's no extra cost for this service and you will have the assurance of knowing that you didn't have to settle for some marketing executive's notion of what a "standard" size golf club is.
